inBYLT partnered with Ramsey County to deliver a comprehensive, county-wide energy and facility improvement program designed to enhance building performance, reduce long-term operating costs, and advance the County’s sustainability goals. The initiative began with detailed facility assessments to evaluate infrastructure conditions and identify opportunities for modernization and energy savings across multiple County-owned buildings.
The resulting program encompasses LED lighting retrofits, building envelope upgrades, advanced controls integration, HVAC replacements, and extensive water conservation measures. A key feature of the project includes the installation of over 2 megawatts of rooftop and ground-mounted solar arrays, strategically designed to leverage the Investment Tax Credit (ITC) Direct Pay provision for maximum financial return.
Together, these improvements significantly reduce energy consumption, improve occupant comfort, and extend the useful life of County assets—all while aligning with Ramsey County’s broader sustainability and climate action objectives.
