Founded in 2012 by Mark Rasmussen and Greg Ackerson, inBYLT began with a desire to change the construction industry. Having left national firms, the founders aimed to create a company where people came first—whether the employees, clients or the communities they served. Their vision was to build a company focused on long-term relationships, grounded in transparency, collaboration, and delivering the best results for clients.
Our Culture of Curiosity drives us to continuously innovate and search for smarter, more efficient ways to meet our clients’ needs. This ongoing pursuit of improvement is at the heart of what we do.

Our commitment goes beyond delivering exceptional construction, engineering, and energy solutions. Through the inBYLT Foundation, we actively work to improve our world.
Each year, we tithe our profits to alleviating poverty, improving education, and addressing child exploitation. Half of the Foundation’s funds support local initiatives, while the other half are used globally to combat poverty and injustice.
Since its creation, the inBYLT Foundation has donated over $350,000 to nonprofit organizations. Our employees also contribute by volunteering their time and skills to make a tangible difference.
